Soft doc shuffle

  I don't know what happened today. Three different doctors tried to move appointments around, some by days, others by literally 20 minutes. All that happened within the space of a few hours. I know things can come up and sometimes they need to move around but it gets a little silly how often it occurs. With the number of different doctors my wife sees we really get to see how much their scheduling really does downright suck sometimes. Making things happen on time can be hard but doctors more than anybody else I know move stuff around on a whim to meet their needs. Is it too hard to ask that you keep your predetermined appointments and not treat your patients as pawns to shuffle around? Just a little frustrated in this since they rarely seem to care when they do it and expect you to be able to jump through hoops to meet their timetable.
