There is something incredibly relaxing about having a long weekend. The usual two days never seem to cut it, mainly because you do stuff in a routine and by the time Sunday evening comes around that dread of having to go back to work kicks in. The extra day though that a longer three day weekend has really makes it so much better.
Ours involved the usual shopping, gardening, Lego building, videogame playing, wife fussing, food scoffing and other assorted amusements that kept us busy all weekend. Nothing completely out of the ordinary but so much better than the average weekend. We need more like that I think.
