My wife went for another eye stab this morning. She gets dilated and her retinas checked and the last few visits they have injected her eye with medication. This means numbing it, holding it open with a device and then literally injecting with a needle in to the eye ball. She is so brave to have that done. I know the needle doesn't go directly in to the eye but she ends up half blinded from brightness since her eyes are fully dilated in daylight, in pain from the injection and blurry vision from it as well. No way I could go through that.
Our new cat Archer has settled down a lot and recovered from his fungal thing he had going. He is even seemingly playing with Lucy a bit with them chasing each other around and batting at each other. No claws or hissing yet so we have to assume it is play, it is just like Lucy and Daisy chase each other around and they are sisters.
The weather here where we live now is so much better or at least more varied. We have had sunshine, rain, foggy days and varied temperatures. Much more like I had when growing up and definite seasons here with all the leaves and clear weather turning at the end of summer. Much more preferable I think. Sunshine for most of the year is nice but it comes with heat problems and much higher skin problems from all that sunshine. Another point for this house over our old one with its location.
