My wife is being subjected to me "cooking" most of the food at the moment. She burned the palm of her left hand on the fireplace which managed to get far too hot and almost pour smoke in to the house eventually setting off all the smoke alarms (which required turning of the power so I could go around and disconnect them all). I say "cooking" since generally it involves heating up premade stuff or my usual making easy breakfasts and lunches. I suspect there may be some eating out coming around as well. In fact we are doing that for thanksgiving, going to a local place for the traditional dinner (although we will substitute the pumpkin pie) on Thursday so that is one less meal to make.
Even with all this I don't think we are going to die from food poisoning from my attempts to make food. I still need to decide what to do tonight (or what to reheat from the precooked stuff in the freezer) which means another decision that I'm not very good at making. Not good as in when I do eventually come up with an idea it usually isn't that great. I really have no idea what to do with food, I could just eat the same thing over and over and be alright about it. When I used to eat breakfast in the office it would be the same thing every day, some form of bowl of cereal. Then when we had a cafeteria it would be the same sandwich over and over again. They used to know exactly what I wanted when I went in since I had it so often. It is one less thing to think about and decide on. Then again maybe I could decide that my wife and I should eat poutine for dinner every day :| .
Your page scrolling tags are fricking annoying!! Your cooking is good though, you've made very nice roasts and poutines and sandwiches and even done some good bolognese stuff...I think your planning is what you're probably a bit iffy on, but then you have me to plan :|
