Well the results of Fudge's test came back and he did have a cancerous growth in him. The surgery got it out and it isn't going to spread to other areas so no chemo or treatment. The only thing we need to do is keep an eye out for if it comes back in the same spot.
For all this Fudge shows none of it. He is still the same old happy cat he always is. He comes trotting over to us as soon as he sees us looking at him. He will be purring his head off and want nothing more than to be with you. An animal that is more overjoyed to be with someone I've never seen, he loves every moment of being with us. He has always been like that and shows no signs of the surgery and the lump cut out of him. As long as he stays that way this illness will have had zero negative effect on him. Strange to think of it like that where he had something growing in him that shouldn't be there but it didn't affect him at all.
We want Fudge to be around for a good bit longer still. If he gets better from this and it doesn't grow back I suspect he will.
