Another day working from home so another day going out for lunch with my wife. I have had eaten out more with my wife in these last few months than the last few years possibly. Being at home all day makes it so easy to just nip out and grab a bite to eat for lunch. It is very cool to be able to do this, step away from work and get out of the house with my wife. Heck even eating lunch at home with my wife every day is so great and such a change from my old working routine.
In competitions this week I'm up to 26 out of 28 entries in to a competition for money and stuff for playing Borderlands 2. Sure there are probably a lot of people entering this but with a grand prize, 4 sets of weekly prizes and some other random prizes I have to win something right? That is how odds work huh :) . Then there is the competition I entered using the trophies I earned playing games via Sony. All those gold trophies (113 of the 2678 I have) can be used as entries so with those I now will have 141 entries to win something. Even better odds. Really hoping something comes of all this even though I have had fun doing everything required to get the trophies or boss monster kills to get an entry. Also hoping I win something so my wife who suffered through all that game playing I've done didn't suffer for nothing.
I think the only strange thing is that this Borderlands 2 competition ends in two days so I won't have an excuse to play the game for a little bit every day. I suspect I will play a lot more of the game but won't get anything from it other than fun from playing. Given that I'm getting to the high level areas with serious powers now there is a good challenge but also serious carnage. All that playing has paid off with some seriously good game play the higher level stuff has.
Anyway, I'm off to finish some work and then go relax again for the rest of the day. I'm definitely used to this easier life now and could in no way go back to how we used to live.
