I stayed up late last night, just past midnight, in order to place an order for my wife's Christmas present. The item I am getting her was available to buy from that time. Within a couple of minutes I had the order placed and guaranteed she will get what I wanted to get her for Christmas. It means she will definitely get something really nice which I try my best to make sure she always has.
When I was younger and heck even when first working I didn't have much money. Getting gifts for my wife was hard and I really had to plan ahead. Now though it is much easier to find the money to buy something nice for her and I really enjoy doing it. I want her to have the things neither of us could have growing up and when we were first married. Being at this point in life is so much less stressful than a couple of decades ago in that way.
The even cooler bit was I managed to get yet another trophy on a PS3 game last night about 10 minutes to midnight. Not bad timing to be honest. This trophy though has some form of us, it was a gold one which can currently be used in a sweepstakes to win prizes from Sony. Hah, all that time playing games paid off :) . I think I'm at 2664 trophies now, not a bad haul. By the time I start earning them on the PS4 I should be closer to 2700 at a guess with the trophies left to earn in the games I'm playing. It is nice to look back on them and see a record of what I played when and everything I've done in games. Some of them don't serve much purpose but others do bring back memories of the game and the fun I had playing it. A nice little visual history of me playing.
