Exciting news

  We have a new toaster. There isn't that exciting? Well, I had to open this post with something to get your attention those few of you who read this. In more interesting news last night was good. The dinner we had was far too large portion wise, I finished as much of my main course as I could and my wife barely managed half of hers. Then when dessert came we did our best sharing one, god help us if we had ordered one each. Here are a couple of photos, one of my wife in her lovely dress and one of the dessert after we had managed as much as we could of it.

  After dinner we watched the film Source Code, nothing really unexpected in it but still a good film regardless. Nice idea at the end of it spoiler warning of the idea of one reality being able to alter another one and basically effect relative time travel between parallel dimensions end spoiler warning. The name of the film means one thing to me and is used in a strange way to me given my profession but I suppose it sort of makes sense in how they used the words.

  My rant post is finally coming together in my head so should be able to write that up soon. It won't be anything earth shattering just something I want to get off my chest. Also I still want to do the full long winded trip report in a bit so I can have everything written down for posterity as it were. It was a good trip, especially getting to see and be with my nephew despite the severe annoyance that my other in law is.
