Kind of an appropriate title for this post I think. We survived the flight back with no problems and from landing to being in the car was less than 30 minutes which is pretty good considering that included the short bus ride to the long term parking.
Been at work for an hour already this morning and catching up on things, still have 20 emails I need to do something from (out of the 360 or so from being away for a week) so today is going to be busy. Also catching up on a few other things and had a bit of bad news. Just found out my best friend from school has Lymphoma after having lumps cut off his thyroid last week. He needs to start chemotherapy in a couple of weeks. Makes this post title even more suitable. Kind of makes me think of this videogame song which unless you have played Portal will be meaningless to you but again, appropriate (ish).
Off to catch up on more stuff, work, bills and that kind of thing. Being away just for a little bit gets things behind so much.
