I'm in the middle of coding an important part of the project I'm working on at the moment and my head is juggling a dozen different interaction that take place at once. It is making my head swirl a little bit so I decided to step away for a second and waffle on at this here blog thingamajig.
Almost done setting up my wife's laptop for me to use and work from home. I still need to get one more thing working that is giving me trouble and is kind of vital to get working since without it I won't be able to actually connect to the servers at work. If it doesn't go then I may need to get a new laptop which is not really something we should be spending money on just yet given we have to get Boots through his permanent radioactive iodine therapy for his thyroid problem as well soon.
Should get the final pieces we need for the car today, the brake controller and adapter plug/wires to connect it up. Then I get to try my first real bit of work on the car that I'm going to do myself, hooking up 4 wires underneath the dash of the car to wire up the controller. It shouldn't be too bad since there are guides online on how exactly to do it complete with pictures. Also if I mess it up then I won't do any damage to the car itself which is also a relief.
Right, back to coding and working before doing another interview today and then getting out early to take the wife to get her stitches out.
