Ill wife

  I hate it when my wife gets ill. She had a really killer headache last night and still had a nasty one when I got up this morning to go to work. It was bad enough it made her cry which she rarely does from pain. When she gets ill like that I feel even more useless than normal since I know there is little I can do other than make sure she has what she needs and let her rest to get better. I really can't image what I'll be like if she has something serious (other than the things she already has ... ) like my old school friend currently does. Trying to go through that with the one you love knowing it could take them away from you any day would break me.
