  Time for some random stuff

• I worked it out the other day and I've driven almost 460000 miles in the cars I've had over the last 17 years. I've had my license for nearly 23 years but didn't have a car for a long time.
• 221000 of those miles have been in my current car, at the rate I drive I'll hit 500000 total miles by sometime late next year.
• I have no idea what I want for my upcoming 40th birthday. At this point in my life I really just get things when I want them without too much trouble so thinking of things that I want is hard.
• I'm about to start my next project at work implementing the latest technologies, in fact this one is so new it was only invented in 1984.
• I think it is time to move on to another change of breakfast cereal in the morning (yeah I know this is the real reason people read this blog, the latest in cereal eating news). Maybe some Frosties or something in the flake category?
• I only have one really obvious scar on me, on the base of the palm of one of my hands where I slipped and fell over back in England. My wife came running out of the house when I did it and there was a chunk of flesh about 3/4 of an inch long flapping about that freaked her out even though it didn't hurt too much.
• My wife makes the best meatballs. We had them last night and they were so freaking good. I've got leftovers for lunch today, serious yum.
