Cake is good, I don't think you will find many people who disagree with that statement. As one of the many cool things my wife got me for my birthday a custom made cake was one of them. It was a brilliant one of me laying in bed with our four cats around me playing and generally making mischief of themselves. Even better was that is wasn't completely coated in yucky sickly butter cream icing but proper fondant icing.
It was a pretty large cake as well and ever since then we have been eating our way through it. So far we've consumed a decent portion of the main bed and some of the headboard. The fondant me and cats have been saved to be kept (we couldn't eat our cats!). All in all a very very very brilliant cake.
Oh, one more note. It is interesting how very strong food colouring comes out of you colour wise.
