Been a while since I've put anything up here, mainly since I've been on holiday for my birthday. Everything went really well, only one real mishap that involved almost losing my wife but ended up only her losing her glasses and getting bashed about. I say mishap but at the time I was as worried as I've ever been since one moment my wife is there and the next she is gone. For reference we were white water rafting at the time and she was washed overboard in the roughest part of the water we went across that day. Other than seeing my wife in pain after surgery I've never been more worried about her. I really didn't know if I would see her again since once we knew she was gone we had no idea where she was. We couldn't see her at all in the water. It wasn't until a couple of minutes later when we saw her in the back of another raft that had picked up her on the way through that we knew she was ok. Very very wet and bashed about but alive.
With that I'll finish this post with one final thought. This blog has had more hits in the last two weeks when I've not been posting than it has ever had in a month. All for that particular Nigella post and mostly from India it seems. Strange how that goes.
