We had a good night out last night despite the bloody awful rain in the afternoon. I managed to get home early from work, avoiding the real rain (tm) for once in California and the multitude of accidents that Californian drivers seem to get in to when it gets wet.
We had shopping, a scrumptious prime rib dinner and then when to see Paul which I think I enjoyed more than my wife but it was nice to be out. My wife wore her kick arse LBD and looked stunning and I almost looked as good wearing my smart black shirt and trousers. It has been a while since we've actually gone out like that and it was great to just be together doing stuff. Being able to fuss over my wife and show her how much I love her was great.
I think it is safe to say that I don't think I've seen my wife look more stunning than last night, she put everyone else to shame last night with how she looked. I'm going to remember that look forever.
Today is going to be SGA live auction day starting in a couple of hours. We have a few items we want to bid on out of the 460 or so there are in this auction. Might be a little expensive but it is just about the last chance to get this stuff since after this I believe there are no more items left to auction off.
Just also doing a quick clean up of the house since we have the pet sitter coming over in an hour so we can introduce Lucy and Daisy and more importantly show the sitter how to apply Boot's thyroid medicine he is currently on since he needs it twice a day.
Think we are going to finally ditch the landline, we have switched over both my parents and my wife's sister to Skype and just need to get my wife's mother to actually use the internet. Other than those few people we really don't need a phone at home since everything else we do can be done on a mobile phone or online.
Oh, in case anyone cares I'm going to change the url on my blog to something else since my parents now know my grugvoth username (since I use it in Skype) and I don't want them finding this blog.
