Annoying habits

Apparently I have quite a few annoying habits. I tend to fiddle with something at all times, more often than not making noise of some kind of another. This doesn't bother me since it somehow keeps me occupied fiddling with whatever I am but my wife obviously gets distracted by this repetitive noise I make.

Take Lucy our cat as another example. This morning she jumped up on to my lap in order to get a fuss. While she was sitting there I tried to use my computer and put my arms around her. Since she still wanted fuss she decided to nip at my arm until I started fussing her again. All the while she was purring her head off but was determined to get her own way since she wanted fussing.

Boots has an annoying habit of demanding an audience when he wants to go eat. He knows where his biscuits are and can go and eat them at any time. However at some times he will walk up to my wife and I and meow at us until we follow him. He will then proceed to eat some biscuits, take a drink and go lay down somewhere. We are then safe to go back to whatever we were doing but if we don't wait for him to at least take a drink after eating then he will come back to us and meow at us until we follow him again.

It is strange the habits people (and cats) pick up that can so annoy other people. It is just a matter of trying to break those habits that is hard so you don't end up annoying the person you are with so much.
