Slightly strange day today of little things. I had to take our smallest cat to the vets this morning to get her teeth seen to. This meant she couldn't have any food since last night which meant keeping her away from everyone else in a bedroom which meant my wife had to sleep in there with her to keep her company and not have her locked away on her own. She is so tiny and afraid to be away it is kind of sad. We got her from a rescue place so she had been passed around various places after probably being abandoned as a kitten. Having her away from all of us is kind of sad. Even when my wife and I go away she has the other 3 cats as company.
So it meant a very disturbed night of sleep for my wife. Daisy was all over the place in the bedroom and being a cat didn't really settle all night. Compare that to Boots at the moment. He is currently where he usually is, in one of the cat baskets literally snoring away while he sleeps. Just hearing him there is a great comfort. Fudge and Lucy are also dotted around the house fulfilling their lazy cat duties. Daisy though is down the road at the vets and we have no idea how she is doing. Weird that I only dropped her off less than 2 hours ago and her presence is really missed.
Lunch out today since I'm at home which will be nice. Spend some time out with my wife during the day and get a little bit of work done from home. Just looking forward to when we can pick Daisy up again and make sure she feels safe and happy back with us and the other cats.
